Enlighten Festival

Enlighten Festival will once again light up the nation’s capital over 17 days of culture and creativity between Friday March 4 – Sunday March 20, 2022.  

Now in its 12^th year, 2022 will see the Enlighten Festival take over the entire city with a packed program of diverse and exciting events and entertainment, all brought together under the @Enlighten Festival banner.

Whether it’s seeing Canberra’s iconic architecture in a different light during the Illuminations, rising early to see hot air balloons take to the skies, enjoying a short film festival, listening to an orchestra in the park, or celebrating Canberra’s birthday with a feast of multicultural food and performances, the fascinating program will give something for everyone to enjoy during the Enlighten Festival.

And in 2022 the @Enlighten Festival will also offer a smorgasbord of food and drink options with Night Noodle Markets, the Forage and BentSpoke Beer Garden, nightly entertainment, new installations, the Surface Festival and Van Gogh Alive, amongst a host of other attractions and after dark activities @Enlighten Festival.
